HELLO
I'm Maria and it's lovely to meet you.
I set up BECOME Interiors in 2018, with a vision of bringing characterful and joyful interiors to people's homes. Following an early career in web design and then teaching, I retrained at renowned KLC School of Design to follow my passion in all things interiors.
I pride myself on my approachable, flexible nature and just love going through the design process with both nervous and experienced homeowners alike. I get a huge buzz from unpicking my clients' desires, tastes and styles, to bring together schemes that speak of them.
Inspired by nature and a huge fan of colour and pattern, I love encouraging people to be braver with their choices, so that their rooms and homes become places they love to live in and are inspired by. I strive to design spaces that balance functionality and personality and think good design should be available to everybody.
Teen Bedrooms St Albans
Maria created the perfect havens for our two teen girls. They’d outgrown their younger girls’ bedrooms so Maria spent time with them really getting under the skin of their individual styles, likes and dislikes, as well as the practical elements that would make their spaces really work for them.
The girls loved working with Maria, as did we. She has excellent organisational skills and an eye for the smaller details as well as the overall wow factor. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone!
