Mid century family home

This large mid century home offered a generous footprint - however it lacked light, had a clunky layout, appeared tired and gave no view to the wraparound garden. The owners desired an open and light filled space that would stand up to the many demands of their sociable family, without compromising on style and substance.

Through careful reconfiguration, which involved designing a new property facade, reimagining the entrance hall, opening several rooms into each other and knocking a new large opening onto the garden, this home is now flooded with light and views.

By injecting the owners' personality into the design scheme, whilst offering plenty of storage, selecting low maintenance finishes and incorporating pops of colour and texture, we have designed a series of spaces that are characterful, stylish and perfect for family living.
